LETRAS
Advanced Typography, University of San Francisco
Research suggests that writing with the non-dominant hand is a positive cognitive exercise, aiding focus and creative thinking. As I began to fill pages of letters, I found that the practice cultivated mindfulness—demanding slow-paced self-control.
'Letras' explores movement through repetition, translating the variation found across rows of imperfect letterforms into kinetic space. Mixed media consisting of analog, print, and digital web.
